OLPC XO Laptop

Last year, students in this course held a fundraiser to buy two XO Laptops. these laptops have been designed for use by students in Thrid World Countries. They are given to students to take home where in some cases, they might be the only source of light. The classs kept one laptop and the other was donated to the OLPC Programs.

The XO contains many innovated features such as daylight cisible screen, a flash drive, mesh networking, and a large connection of pre-installed software.

Class Update # 4 : Poll Everywhere

Today our teacher showed us this website that can allow us to vote on our cellphones by texting. In the website, we can see the precentage of the number of people that voted. It was amazing!

Today, we used our phones and started texting to this website to vote on polls on different questions. It was awsome! =)
